This sweet 1972 BMW 2002 Touring comes to us from all the way in Sweden. Owned and built by Niclas Carnjeskold, it features a slew of upgrades, most notably the KKK K27 Volvo truck turbo helping the carbs with their air and fuel delivery duties. While the engine features a bunch of additional mods, they all work in sweet harmony thanks in part to the spot on, high energy output of the XDI ignition system. No more engine failure due to sloppy timing and inadequate spark for this little Bimmer!

This awesome looking ’04 Nissan Sentra is owned and piloted by Mike Alexander of Alexander’s Auto Care in Winthrop Harbor, IL. It runs in the very competitive SCCA GT Light class. It sports a Don Preston built chassis, a Nissan A15 engine and a pair of Weber Carbs. This year, Mike decided to retire his venerable Electromotive HPV-1 ignition and upgrade to the new XDI-2 PC Programmable ignition. The XDI-2’s laptop programmable load and RPM based timing table gave Mike the extra tuning range to get another 2 seconds off his lap times compared to the HPV-1! Talk about dialed in! Look for Mike to make his presence known as he shows the EFI guys that with proper tuning, the carb crowd is alive and very well!
